HCG Downsizing!
I heard from a very reliable source today that High Country Gardens is having to downsize because of a decrease in sales. Over the past few years, they’ve included some very interesting and unusual items in their catalog like Prunus andersonii, but come spring those items will likely be gone because of their low sales. Popular plants should still be there, but if there is an usual item in the catalog that you haven’t seen elsewhere, like Crinum bulbispermum, order it now, because in a few months, you won’t be able to. A good place to look for candidates is under the “web only” tab.
This being said, you should make an effort to order plants from HCG. We lost Rugged Country Plants, we can’t afford to lose HCG, too.
