Penstemon whippelanus patch gets bigger every year, and with such an unusual mahogany color in its dark form. I have it with some light yellow Aquilegia that self-seeds, but the timing was slightly off this year. I’m considering sowing some small, white umbellifier in there that will weave in with the Penstemon. Taking suggestions.
