Photos of yesterday’s annular eclipse!
We live about 200 miles north of the eclipse’s path, so we threw the kids in the car and drove four hours to see this spectacular “ring of fire” eclipse. Kannarraville, Utah was the sweet spot where the moon was at full annularity, but it was a bit crowded with 10,000+ people there lining the roads to see it. So, we drove 5 miles down the road to Kolob Canyons within Zion National Park where we got the bonus of a fabulous backdrop. We had a solar viewer box as our children were too young to safely look through solar glasses. We were very popular.
